Hey guys... I now tried all of what is in my capibility of solving such issues..but I cant help myself anymore.

First of all, my specs:

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-B250M-DS3H(rev. 1.0)
CPU: i3 7100
GPU: Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630

So until a few days ago, everything worked fine. But 1 week ago, I installed the windows 10 redstone 3 update. After that, I had no initial problems but I realized, that my TV screen that I use occasinally as a second monitor, got me something like "resolution not supported". So it didnt work. The problem was, that as soon I put in the HDMI from my TV, it became the primary monitor and I couldnt use my normal mointor anymore to maybe change resolution and such stuff.. Cause all the windows opened on the TV that didnt work anymore. Anyway, I didnt care for a while.

Today I digged into it and after a while I just downloaded the recent INTEL graphics HD 630 driver. I tried to install it, but it didnt work. It took very long which was already unusual and then told me something like "the setup process couldnt install certain drivers bla bla"...

Next I uninstalled all the old drivers including deleting left over folders from Intel and so on.... Tried again to install the driver, still the same issue. Now for some reason, I dont even have a graphic card section in the device manager anymore. My gpu shows up at "other devices" with the name "Videocontroller".

What the F%%% is that shit? I cant do anyhting anymore. The driver wont install, the automatic driver search tries to install something but ofc I cant see what exactly...butin the end gets me a message "driver failed to install" as well...

Also: The driver by itself worked fine besides the second monitor thing..so it is unlikely that the actual hardware is broken or the CPU which the GPU is integrated in.

I have no clue at all what to do.

Thanks in advance <3

It sounds like the Windows update messed up the multi monitor support. If that's what happened then messing with the drivers won't fix it, Microsoft needs to fix it. In the meantime I'd try installing the driver that Gigabyte supplies on their download page. Then, assuming that works, you can update from there.

EDIT: Now my gpu shows up back at "graphic cards" in the device manager, as "microsoft basic display adapter". Which is normal when no driver is installed. But yet, I cant install the driver.... -.-
