so this is going to be a difficult 1 to explain.

So If i just turn on my PC let it boot up (takes like 20 seconds), i can then do whatever i like no problem. no stuttering, no slow loading no nothing all seems fine. temperatures are normal. i can jump into a game, watch videos even start rendering something. but after 15 to 20 minutes it turns off, as if i just flipped the switch on the PSU off and on again. then i get the boot failure screen upon it automatically booting itself back up again, now it does this even if i just sit at the desktop and stare at the screen not even touching a single thing, It'll switch off after the 15 to 20 minutes, and then back on again after about half a second and boot to the boot failure screen.

Now if before doing that i hit delete to go to the BIOS screen and just save and exit or exit without saving, i can do what i want as above and it WILL NOT turn off randomly and boot up to the boot failure screen, i could even pull an all nighter playing any games of my choice, and not have a single issue

Also to be clear i have NEVER messed with the BIOS settings

Any1 got any suggestions on how to fix this?

Boot failure screen - and what cause of failure it lists?
A small experiment, if you don't mind: do all as normally you do to make it work, then play for about an hour. Shut down. Then turn it back again. Will it still go off after 15-20 minutes, or will keep going indefinitely?

Hmm, however when i enter BIOS and just leave with save n exit or exit without saving it runs at 1600Mhz with no problems. also i disabled auto restarts as skynetrising suggested. was no BSOD just turns off and reboots to the boot failure screen.
How do i make sure it loads 1600Mhz properly on initial boot up?

While the problem with RAM settings explains nicely those reboots and boot failure screen, it does not give any explanation toward your initial problem which is sudden power down. Because if ram settings on initial boot would be faulty (and why it does not keep good, working settings from previous day?), you would rather experience BSODs or freezes, at random time intervals, not a power down after same amount of time. So for me, it more and more looks like cold boot problem with PSU.

Everything was fine until i had an intel chipset update in the summer. i have tried it with my other PSU which is an AX860i aswell as some cheap £20 600w PSU and the exact same issue occurs as that was my first assumption, but what im really confused about is that, if i leave my comp off overnight, log on the next day but go right to BIOS save n exit or exit without saving. theres no problems at all. shouls i update the BIOS to F7 as its currently F5? would that work at all?

ok, sorry for late reply. I had to get some sleep, anyway, ive tried turning off XMP which seems to have set my RAM down to 1333Mhz, currently waiting for the inevitable system failure.

slot#1 to #4 are identical as they should be

Update: Disabling XMP did not fix anything, and making sure everything was set to "auto" still got the system failure. although this time it booted right back up without coming to the boot failure screen, as if i just switched it on myself.
