I want to build my first pc and parts selection is somewhat daunting. I've put together the parts I believe will be good for solid multi tasking and minimal online gaming (mostly offline gaming with older titles). The parts list is as follows:
- ASUS Prime X-370 Pro
- Ryzen 1700X
- Corsair Vengeance 16GB 2400 DDR4
- Noctua NH-L9x65 SE
- EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 TI SC
- Corsair CX 650 Watt 80+ Bronze
- WB Blue 1TB 7200 RPM
- Samsund EVO 960 250GB SSD
- Thermaltake View 21
Should this be a good rig? Am I bottlenecking the CPU too much with the GPU?

Your cpu will not bottleneck your gpu by any means, this rig is overkill for older games and office or multi tasking, but overall its's a great rig. You could save some money by going with 8gb of ram and cutting down to a gtx 1050, and if your not overclocking you won't need an x-370 motherboard, you could go with a cheaper motherboard and instead of a ryzen 7 get a ryzen 5 1400.
