Does the RAM chipset matter?

I'm making an attempt at my dream tower, but some corners sadly had to be cut to make it happen, as I'm sure others have had experience with, but would a chipset of Z170 on my memory matter if my MOBO/CPU are X299? Additionally here is the base of the build I'm making if y'all have any advice for me or things you'd change https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2vGcWX

Solution
If it is a quad channel set (four matched DIMMs) then you should be fine. A Z170 is only a dual channel motherboard so a quad channel set is not usually used. The extra load will usually require the RAM to run at more moderate speed.

what should I look for or what would you recommend in that case?
From what I can tell it's a quad channel kit
