Is There Anything Wrong With This PC Gaming Build?

I just finished making a pc gaming build and was wondering if it was any good. I wanted to know if I was cheaping out on anything or if a certain component of the build was bad or unneeded? If I were to order all of these parts, could I assemble it right away or do I need to buy other things to make it operational? Also, should I add a cd rom (I would probably just use it for windows 10 installation or should I just install windows 10 a different route?) I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on this build, thanks.

I would advise the Cryorig H7 CPU cooler and EVGA Supernova 650 instead. Better performance on the cooler, and way better price and power on the PSU. This PSU also would easily accommodate a 1080 Ti if you ever want to upgrade the GPU.

Other than that, I did a little checking on 7700k vs 8600k gaming performance. They perform very closely, and the 8600k is of course on a more modern MB platform that supports SSDs (M.2) better. The only problem with that is the Coffee Lake CPUs are still a bit above...

The only problem with that is the Coffee Lake CPUs are still a bit above MSRP due to short supply and high demand. You just missed B&H Photo's price of $280 on the 8600k.

I myself am holding out for better pricing on the 8700k. The cheapest right now is $400 at Newegg, but only available via an emailed promo code for those whom subscribe to them. The only thing that worries me is the RAM prices getting higher.
