Hi, ya'll, I'm looking to buy a UPS for my setup that draws ~300W from the wall, by way of the computer itself, as well as 3 monitors. I'm concerned with the random flash power outtages that seem to periodically happen in my area, at least once a week. They'd be anyware from a split second, to a couple hours, and I started looking up UPS going into my build, for fear of a flash outtage while I'm flashing my bios. I decided to take a risk on that one, but I'm still looking to get one anyway.
My curiosity on that, though, is how I could get the most out of one. I see some details about the uptime on the power supply, being about 8-10 minutes relative to it's maximum, so I began to think, If I got say, a 900W UPS for my ~300W setup, would I be able to squeeze 20-30 minutes out of it?
