Does using a 900W UPS w/ 300W setup mean x3 battery life?

Hi, ya'll, I'm looking to buy a UPS for my setup that draws ~300W from the wall, by way of the computer itself, as well as 3 monitors. I'm concerned with the random flash power outtages that seem to periodically happen in my area, at least once a week. They'd be anyware from a split second, to a couple hours, and I started looking up UPS going into my build, for fear of a flash outtage while I'm flashing my bios. I decided to take a risk on that one, but I'm still looking to get one anyway.

My curiosity on that, though, is how I could get the most out of one. I see some details about the uptime on the power supply, being about 8-10 minutes relative to it's maximum, so I began to think, If I got say, a 900W UPS for my ~300W setup, would I be able to squeeze 20-30 minutes out of it?

You would have to consult the runtime graph for the specific brand and model of UPS that you are planning on purchasing.

The following example is the runtime graph for an APC Smart-UPS C 1500VA LCD 120V SMC1500 900W (at 300W load the runtime is 23.1 minutes):

Sadly its not that easy to calculate since the number of minutes you can run your system depends on what make and model of the UPS.
Some might deliver 6 minutes power (900watts UPS @ 300 watts load) and some might give you as long as 16 - 18 minutes (900watts UPS @ 300 watts load)

I myself like BlueWalker.
