On low preset 1080p I'm hitting 100% usage a LOT and getting stutters. This didn't even happen on the high preset in the last game. Cpu cores that are being used average 75-80% usage. Only 5-6gb of ram being used. Max vram for the session was 2700mb out of 3gb.

Is optimization ass or is this game really that big of a leap from the last? Looks like I'm only at 925mhz core about a quarter of the time, 850mhz the rest. Don't know how to lock it at 925mhz with msi ab.

Load temps:
Cpu ~50c
Gpu ~70c

Windows 7 64b ultimate
FX-8350 @4.6ghz
8gb DDR3 1600mhz
7970 3gb (reference)

If my cpu and ram usage are fine idk why it would point to a background disturbance. I only have origin, msi afterburner, mouse driver control panel and audio interface control panel running in the back ground. No browser or voips.

Try restricting your FPS using MSI Afterburner/RIVA Tuner. Moniter with Afterburner and the FPS limit setting is in Riva Tuner on the right hand side just 3 lines under the little wrench icon.

True, the GPU usage is what you paid to get, but not the stuttering that comes along with frame rate spike and drop. Restricting the FPS may reduce the spikes = reduced stuttering.
The stuttering may also come from other issues I'm not familiar with. Keep asking if the FPS reduction doesn't work.

Your Ram is Ok, well 8GB on the verge, but when I look at this and your specs: perhaps change the graphs settings > Sync every frame to Off.
Lower the overall graphics setting - just because your graphics card has limited graphics memory?

Just try and give us a feedback
Sincerely, from Sweden
