GPU fan hits sound card

I have a GTX 1060 with two fans and a SoundBlaster AE-5 installed however one of the fans of the GPU is hitting the sound card just a little bit but enough to cause trouble. I have no option to move either of the two to another port. The GPU sits right next to my Cryorig H7 so I was wondering if it would be Ok to turn off one of the GPU fans (if possible?)

I agree with 13thmonkey.
You can also loosen the lockdown screws for each card and gently move them away from each other and then lock the screw down again.
Like he said, it shouldn't really happen unless your missing what the real cause is. If you try both our solutions, and the fan still just barely touches, I'd be tempted to gently wedge a little non conductive thing (styrofoam) between the two cards to get the millimeter or so clearance .. without forcing anything.
Like I say, have a good look at it first. Should not really happen

It is correctly screwed in. I even measured if it dropped just a tad and it doesn't. It's the first fan closes to the screw that is hitting one of the small metal pieces on the backside of the sound card.

Edit. I haven't tried to move the cards to then lock the screws. I'll try that thanks

Hopefully that works.
My suggestion of wedging something is a bit more difficult if it's at the end of the card closest to the lock screws, since there is next to no flex at that point.
If you still have a problem after repositioning the cards via the lock screw, maybe list what motherboard, and make of GTX 1060 GPU you have. It may be the soldered pins on the circuitboard of the sound card weren't trimmed down very well in manufacturing, and another option is to remove the sound card, and snip all the tips of those pins with side cutting pliers.

The soldered pins do seem to be quite long compared to pictures I've found of the AE-5 so I'm guessing that's the problem. However after several attempts I finally managed to make a tiny gap between the two by moving the components up and down. Thanks a lot for your help guys!
