Graphic card pci-e male or female?

Hey, I plan on buying a EVGA 1060 SC do any of you guys know if the 6 pin needed to power it has to be male or female? Please be specific whether the pci-e cable itself has to be male/female or if the one slot itself directly on the GPU is male/female. Thanks in advance!

for example:
