Certain applications don’t run, certain games in Steam crash on startup, and my Elgato HD 60 Pro sometimes crashes during a recording or streaming session. Build is below. Do you think it’s a Faulty MB, too low Power supply, or maybe a software issue? (antivirus isn’t the issue) **CPU Cooler:** Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo + **Motherboard:** Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5 + **RAM:** 16GB DDR3 1600 + **SSD:** Samsung 120GB M.2-2280 + **HDD:** 2TB 7200 RPM + **GPU:** Nvidia GeForce 1080 FE + **Power Supply:** EVGA SuperNOVA 80+Gold 650W. Elgato HD 60 Pro installed on the motherboard. Haven’t found any resolution.

Try and turn the Steam overlay off, I've been having some issues with it lately causing games to crash on launch.
What CPU do you have? You listed the cooler but no the cpu. Streaming/recording uses alot of cpu up especially HD.

You may want to try and reinstall your drivers. Use the clean installation option in the Custom installation option of the installer when you do.
