As far as the computer it seems like a good deal with your parents discount. The only concern with the brand computers is the cases sometimes are not the best for future upgrades, like large graphics cards or CPUs that need bigger coolers.

I wouldnt waste your money on a Rosewill PSU, it wont be any better then whats in the case. If you want to replace it buy something like

Tried to price out a similar PC to build and couldnt really come close, so yeah its a good deal.

As Rrichiestang_78 points out, upgrading in the future can be a problem with OEM cases, they usually don't have too much spare space and ventilation is usually limited.

Don't bother with the PSU swap, odds are the Rosewill is worse than the part already installed and you'll almost certainly invalidate the warranty-plenty of these systems use 'tamper evident' tabs, tags or other devices to alert their warranty inspectors to the fact the case has been opened.

If you're looking for a good, solid med/high HD gaming system that'll also breeze homework/research and home/office tasks this one will be hard to beat at the price.
