■Your electricity has line quality issues (undervoltage, or fluctuations), causing the UPS to activate. Try the UPS in a different house/at work to see if it still beeps.
■Your UPS battery is dead/dying. Batteries are meant to be used, not held at full charge and topped off indefinitely. So they usually only last about 3-7 years in a UPS. If your UPS is around this age, then you'll need to replace it. Or if your UPS is a model with a replaceable battery (most use generic standard 12V gel cells - the size is printed on the battery), you can buy replacement cells and swap them out yourself.
■Your UPS is malfunctioning and should be replaced.
