AMD Chipset not available for Windows 8 ??

Hello people,

I just bought a Gigabyte AB350m-Gaming 3

I just install Windows 8.1 and I found few hardware who need drivers

on the website of AMD I found this ->

I try anyway the drivers for the win 7 but I got this :

Any solutions ?

the solution is to upgrade to windows 10. you can still do it for free via "accessibility" loophole - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/accessibility/windows10upgrade
new releases from both intel and AMD are not supported on earlier windows versions.

Well, I would somewhat understand the "don't want windows 10" if you were running XP or 7.
But 8 is probably the worst windows ever made after ME and Vista (yes, i remember them all). There is nothing in 8 that 10 doesn't better. And there are many things that 10 does and 8 simply can't - like support for newer HW or even shitty APIs. And you know, eventually you will upgrade if you are one of those who have to use windows. The question is how much you will pay for it.
You are not stuck as you can:
1. switch to Linux

that would also explain the "love" for windows
2. try to install windows 10 drivers. might work better than 7.
3. upgrade the windows.
many choices to pick from.

I use windows since the 3.1 ! I even start with MS-Dos, and between 7, 8 , 8.1, 10 For me the best is the 8. Then 10 come with too much malware inside (collecting private data, forcing updates, displaying advertise ! etc..)

btw I plan to pass under Linux, I'm not agree with way where Microsoft go

but here this topic is not which one is the best. Is what I can do to found those drivers for win 8.1

It takes about 10 minutes to disable the data collection and forced updated including searching for the howto guides

I use linux since ~2000 and will continue to use it for foreseeable feature because I like the "do whatever you want if you have the skill".
IMO, microsoft has way better attitude today than it had few years ago - much more open approach. For example, macOS annoys me way more.
Anyway, try to install the drivers for win 10, it might work.
