cap icon gone

Hi,i have a gateway nv59c and the caps lock icon is not showing up anymore on the screen .does anyone know how to get this to function again.Thanks Joe24

Windows 10?

Normally the icon just appears, shows the status, and fades after Caps Lock is pressed. You can configure an audio sound to notify you that the Caps Lock key has been pressed.

"WIN" + "I" > Ease of Access > Keyboard > Toggle keys

That said; was the icon originally permanently visible?

Are you sure that the original icon was not a third party product/utility? Maybe included with the Gateway software package?
