This is more than enough for that GTX 1060 which even RealHardTechX recommends a 450w unit for. We know they always OVER recommend, so it's likely about 100w more than what is actually needed by your system unless you are significantly overclocking the CPU.

If you are shutting down, rather than getting bluescreens and errors, then it is a lot more likely to be the power supply than anything else. That doesn't mean it CAN'T be something else, just that it's less likely.

But if you want something with a bit more capacity, this would do very well and is outstanding quality with a 10 year warranty.

Just for giggles you might want to go back through the system and reseat the memory, and every single plug on it. Disconnect then reconnect them all making certain they are all fully seated, including those that may be going to the graphics card and the graphics card itself.

What is the model of your current power supply?

EVGA has Black Friday sale but don't know if it will work out for you. Here is the link for you to check out.
https://www.evga.com/BF2017/

Two months ago, my son's PC power supplies went out, I bought a new one from Amazon. I select 2 days free shipping but got it the next day since I live only a few miles from their warehouse. I am sure they have 1 day shipping option. Other option is get it from local store like Best Buy.

Price is the same through Newegg after you factor in the 20 dollar mail in rebate on the Seasonic unit I listed above, PLUS, the Seasonic is much better than the comparably priced models on that sale. Also, there is no shipping and handling, which you WILL have to pay when ordering directly from EVGA.
