Pci Ethernet card for better internet

Will I get bettet Internet speed if I buy a ethernet pci card. Now my speed is 90Mb up and 90Mb down.
My specs:
Cpu. Amd x4 Athlon 870k
gpu. asus gtx 750to oc
ram. Kingston HyperX 1x8Gb 1600Mhz
ssd. Kingston HyperX Fury 480gb
MoBo. Asus A88XM-E
cooler. Cryorig M9A
PSU. Corsair VS 450W

The motherboard includes a Gigabit LAN controller; a PCI card won't be faster. Is you router Gigabit? How fast should your Internet connection be?

my router is a Inteno FG 500, and my Internet speed should either be 250/100 or 500/100 or 1000/100 so it should be faster than it is now.

Can you connect your PC directly to the modem? If so, what speed do you get? You checked the router and you determined that it connects at Gigabit speed with the modem?

What 'speed' do you pay the ISP for?
Unless the LAN port on the motherboard is actually broken, a PCIe one won't be any faster.

ok I've checked what speeds I should get, and it's 100/100. If a PCI card won't give better speeds what are Ethernet PCI cards used for?

They are used when a system doesn't have a LAN controller or as a replacement when it's defective.

If you take the overhead into account, you already are getting very close to the maximum throughput.

That's what the ISP calls "Close Enough!"
Adding a different LAN adapter won't make it any faster.
