C2Q9650 into a Xps 400??

Is it possable to put a c2q9650 support motherboard into a Xps 400 to make a cheap gaming solution to get off a laptop? I am also recording using Screencast-o-Matic and my laptop cant hold any recordings, that is the main reason.

Shit, just realised that i should try out the org systom before i ask. Still need help tho because the clock is messed up and resets to 2006, so internet explorer does not work properly

Replace the CMOS battery.

What specific model is the xps 400 - there were several MB's used. I don't think you can upgrade to a dual or quad core cpu.

i know the CMOS needs replaced, this one has a pentium d, so i want to know if i can put in a dell mobo that supports c2d q9650
