I bought an i7 7700k and when I play games I'm getting over 80c temps on all cores. I quickly exited the game once I saw those temps.

I had made a previous thread asking a question and was told to get an Air Cooler rather than a Liquid Cooler. I think I'm wanting an Air Cooler because I'm currently low on money as my job is summer only.

I googled Air Cooler and the Noctua NH D15 came up and Master Cooler Hyper 212. I think the Noctua won't fit my case but the Master Cooler Hyper 212 might have a good chance. As the title says I'm wanting the Master Cooler Hyper 212 EVO

My Case is this: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811853012&cm_re=deepcool_case-_-11-853-012-_-Product

My CPU is this: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117726&ignorebbr=1

My MotherBoard is this: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130939

My Thermal Paste is this: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA93K5R81046&cm_re=thermal_paste-_-35-100-007-_-Product

If the ram gets in the way I can move it a slot over.

Thanks for helping me. I'm a newbie and building PC's and normally I get my moms friend to do it but I've bugged him so much already I don't want to ruin their friendship or make him hate me.

I've never liked maximizing the space available for a cooler, with just 1mm or so clearance left, a slightly warped side panel, putting the side on if it's the slide and click kind, picking the pc up to move it, or even a slightly pressured mobo plate from wiring crammed behind it, will eat up that 1mm fast, and you just scratched your window, stressed the socket etc. Too much potential for damage in my book. The Cryorig H7 that SR-71 recommended is not only a superior cooler to the hyper212, but mounting is way better (the hyper212 is miserable to get right with its center pressure screw), it has no ram clearance issues, and at 145mm tall removes the vast majority of damage causing potential.

I myself have a preference for liquid, I...

Will the cooler fit when there is a cpu and motherboard installed on the case? Also, where do you see 160mm support?

Seconding this. And if you're not sure, the Cryorig site even has an origami template you can print out and fold to see how the cooler will fit. Very clever!

I would get the Cryorig , better cooler and will fit easily.

Best budget cooler on the market.

Simple installation video here ^

Unmatched Compatibility
Zero RAM Interference

Focusing on providing the widest range of
compatibility, the H7 utilizes an asymmetric slanted
heatpipe layout to move the heatsink away from the
RAM zone, Offering optimal compatibility for RAM
with tall heat spreaders on both Intel 115X and
AMD platforms.

I myself have a preference for liquid, I just like them better, but the H7 is without a doubt the best budget air cooler by far, and I'd not have any issues owning one.
