Hey guys,

This is my system specs-

i) intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.4 GHz

ii) Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H Motherboard

iii) 16 GB (8GBx2) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz RAM

iv) Corsair VS650 650 Watts Power Supply Unit

v) Corsair H60 AIO CPU Water Cooler

I recently upgraded my PSU and Graphics Card.

PSU- Corsair RM750x

GPU- Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Gaming 11G

My monitor is LG HD 1366x768 60Hz. I'll be upgrading in the future but right now I don't have a single penny to spend on my PC.

When I'm playing Mirror's Edge Catalyst, I'm getting insane FPS like upwards of 150.

CPU usage is ~80% and temperature is around 71-73 C

GPU usage is ~90% and temperature is around 76-78 C

Capping my FPS using nvidia inspector to 50-60 dramatically reduces CPU and GPU load as well as temperatures. CPU is at 30-37% Utilization with about 60-62 C temperature and GPU is at 28-32% Utilisation with about 58-62 C temperature but the gameplay is still buttery smooth.

So is Capping good or I should just uncap and let my system render as many frames as it can? Just though about capping to reduce power consumption and heat output

Asking just for knowledge.

Thanks in advance everyone :)
