Hi All,

Just recently installed a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING, 11G-P4-6696-KR, 11GB GDDR5X on my computer yesterday. Everything worked perfectly fine. Uninstalled the old AMD drivers (previous rx480 XFX 4GB card), installed the new nVidia drivers.

I decided to make some cosmetic changes to my case fans and moved some of them around after installing my new GPU driver, but after trying to turn my computer back on, I would see no display on any of my 2 monitors or any kind of detection of my mouse and keyboard.

Installation was done by shutting off the computer, turning off the power supply, unplug.

My build:

  • B250M Bazooka MSI Micro ATX
    i5-7400 @ 3.0ghz (Stock Cooler)
    G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING, 11G-P4-6696-KR
    Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
    EVGA - SuperNOVA T2 750W 80+ Titanium Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Monitors:

  • Dell - S2415H 23.8" 1920x1080 60Hz Monitor
    Asus - VS278Q-P 27.0" 1920x1080 Monitor

What I noticed:

  • The CPU fan and case fans run with all LED lights.
    CD Drive runs.
The GPU LED lights up and one of the fans run, but stops after 10 seconds.
The DRAM ez Debug light is on for 5 seconds and goes away.
The keyboard lightning lights up, but does not recognize Num Lock or Caps Lock (lighting does not toggle)

What I tried:

  • Change GPU back to the old rx480-same behavior/issue
Reseat GPU 500x (exaggerated, but yeah)
Changed PSU to my backup Thermaltake Smart Series 600W standard
100x Check all cables are plugged in correctly (I've been trying to fix this for 12 hours)
Reset CMOS manually by removing battery and using metal conductor to short
Reset CMOS manually without removing battery
Go to best buy to buy a new battery (waste of time)
Tried using 1 stick to 0 stick or RAM
    Tried using back-up 4GB RAM
    Removed GPU and RAM
Disconnected all power to SSD/HDD/CD DRIVE,removed RAM and GPU (I noticed that the computer would not shut down immediately after I press the power button, which is what has been happening if all parts are connected)
Tried to test on TV, no display

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Unfortunately no... I just bought a new Mobo and CPU, but I honestly think it was a MoBo issue. Otherwise, my computer runs fine now.
