Yes they will fit the MB however there are subtle differences between DDR4 and SDRAM.
It's complex and which is better is a matter of opinion. I have no opinion however, I stick with DDR4.

The MB QVL lists a kit of DDR4 RAM (CMK16GX4M4A2133C13) which have been tested in conjunction with the MB.
The SDRAM kit are not listed (CMK16GX4M2A2133C13) on the MB QVL so have not been tested.
