Hey I just saw a bunch of great deals on many tech products and I am currently thinking of snagging a threadripper because the sale on Amazon. I will have to save for the mobo later next year so I was wondering if CPUs could go bad or die if u store them for too long without using them. Just wanted to know! Thanks!

No, not if properly stored and handled. But that isn't a very good idea. Prices will only go down in a year for today's CPUs. And the return window will be void by that time.
