Hello guys,

I'm really in deep thoughts of my current situation.

I have decided to upgrade to a new graphics card to game on my 50 inch Sony Bravia smart tv through an Xbox one controller.

It is a 1080p screen and I want to play latest thriple A games 1080p mostly maxed out smoothly. maybe I would even use Dynamic Super Resolution to 4k if the game is less demanding.

So should I get a GTX 1060 or wait for a GTX 1070?

Solution
Get the 1060 6gb and use Nvidia fast-sync to cap your games to 60hz.
The 1070 is a faster card, but for 1080p at 60hz, the 1060 will allow close to max settings in all games.

Hello thanks for ur answer :D

Will it cause stuttering issues on a TV? I will game with an Xbox one controller.

It shoudn't. Keep the background tasks close. Keep the PC in good shape. Use fast-sync. And it should just work.
