Hi, LTLFTP.

I've recently built a rig for a friend, and we're having some issues with the computer randomly restarting, mostly when the computer is under load from gaming.

We've been able to replicate the problem but there are no specific conditions that we've been able to identify, more that we just play a game/valley benchmark and wait for it to happen.

We're not overclocking at all.

We've also tried the following:

-Replaced PSU.
-Tried a different graphics card
-Tried single slot RAM, and different RAM
-Reseated the CPU and applied new compound

Only thing we haven't done is replace the motherboard and I think that's the next step - but I just want to make sure that it's the problem.

So, when we initially built the machine, we ran a benchmark for a few hours, as recommended by another friend, and had no problems, no cut outs etc. About a month after the build was finished, we had out first cut out while playing Overwatch (during a comp game, no less!). We reobooted and the rig was fine for a day or so then it did it again, this time in Overwatch or PUBG, not really sure. The crashes happened once every day or two from then.

So we started the troubleshooting, and eventually RMA'd the PSU and replaced with an EVGA model.

Now once installed it had no issues with running games. In fact it was 7 days before the next crash (today).

Temps haven't been an issue at all.

I'm just hoping that someone can have a look and give some advice before we RMA the mobo.

Any help appreciated.
