Do i need an upgrade?

Solution
Well you are the one who needs to decide if you need a upgrade. What do you use this PC for? Gaming? If so the GTX 770 is your weakest link. If you cant play at the settings and/or framerate you want in your games I would start with upgrading the GTX 770, the i7 4790k is still a good CPU capable of making good use of the latest graphics cards.

Yes you can connect two monitors to the 770. I think you can have up to 4 on most 770's.

No not really. Excel will be fine unless you are doing something extremely ridiculous with it. Video editing will depend on the video, that cpu will render anything but I am not sure how well it will do say scrubbing through a 4k video. I believe an SSD will help with large video file playback and scrubbing as well.
