Hi guys, I want to switch from console to pc gaming and I need your opinion on my first build.
I will play some competitive games like CS:GO & League of Legends and most AAA games &
I was wondering if everything would work toegheter & if I can get some better parts (maybe cheaper), btw I live in Belgium.
I'm not sure if I should change the air cooling to water cooling because everybody is saying that water cooling can have a pump failure, leak and damage the components etc.
I'm looking for a 1440p 144Hz experience.
But nonetheless would really appreciate your help & tips !

My Build
CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K COFFEE LAKE 3.7GHz 6-Core Processor - (€ 370)
CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler - (€ 90)
Motherboard: MSI - Z370-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard - (€ 122)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory - (€ 259)
Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive - (€ 133)
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive - (€ 70)
Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GAMING X 8G Video Card - (€ 599)
Case: Corsair Carbide 200R Window - (€93)
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (€ 104)

If water cooling would be the choice I was thinking of Corsair Hydro Series H115i RGB - (€ 149)

Optional;
Monitor: Acer - Predator XB271HUA 27.0" 2560x1440 165Hz Monitor (€ 650.00)
Mouse: Razer - DeathAdder Elite Wired Optical Mouse (€ 68 - Already purchased)

Total: ± € 2560

Solution
An AIO like the H115i is usually completely sealed, so chances of failure are generally quite low. If you do not care about the RGB for the cooler, perhaps you can consider the H100i v2 cooler. However, if you do not want to take the chance, the Cryorig set of coolers are usually an inexpensive solution and quite good. WARNING: The 8700k does not come with a cooler, unlike its non-k comrades, as such you need a cooler.

I suggest you up your PSU. Take a minimum of 600W as it is usually safer.

This is a good PSU that is not bad. However, pcpartpicker does not have the price for it in Belgium. But it is not too expensive so don't worry.
Other than that, I do not see anything else wrong with your build. Have fun with it!

Thank you so much, but I decided to go for 1080p 144HZ G-Sync because 2k monitor is quite expensive and I was wondering if this would a overkill for that.
Thank you again for your help and if u could help me this time too would be so much appreciated.

A GTX 1080 is an extremely powerful card for 1440p and above generally, if you want to take full use. A GTX 1080 would be more than capable of a 1080p monitor.

Have fun! Don't forget to select best answers later :)
