WHAT should I upgrade going into 2018?

What should I upgrade in my PC going into 2018? I use adobe after effects, and I play games like GTA V, league of legends, and BF1.

I have:
GTX 980
i5 4670
16 GB DDR3
2 TB drives
NO SSD (planning on getting one)
Two monitors (144 & 60)

I’ve considered getting some sort of i7 with the LGA 1150 slot, or getting another 980 from eBay and using sli, or upgrading my RAM (which is now so expensive).

If you have suggestions on what I should upgrade please let me know

Well an SSD and an I7 should do you pretty well for awhile.

If you want more GPU power SLI really isn't the answer, a good strong single GPU like a GTX 1080 or GTX 1080Ti would be better.

But the GTX 980 is still a nice powerful card and with a nice fast I7 you should be good for awhile.
