First time builder here,
A brand new build, carefully assembled, with everything connected, starts for 1-2 seconds, CPU LED flashes once and it shuts down.
Tried reassembling multiple times, breadboxing, different RAM slots, no GPU etc., always the same outcome.
I have already exchanged the MOBO, PSU and the CPU, same outcome nothing changes. Checked for component compatability - no problem either.
Hooked up the build to a friend's PSU, same thing.
Current build:
MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING (LGA 1151, Intel Z370, ATX)
RAM: HyperX Fury (2x, 8GB, DDR4-2400, DIMM 288)
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700k BOX (LGA 1151, 4.20GHz, Unlocked)
CPU Fan: be quiet! Pure Rock (15.50c,)
PSU: Corsair RM850x (850W)
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti STRIX 11g-GAMING (11GB, High End)
HDD: WD Black (2000GB, 3.5")
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO Basic (250GB, 2.5")
I have already looked through the step by step "Won't boot, No POST" thread, nothing helped
Really can't figure out what's wrong, any help will be appreciated
