I have Asus AI suite and it always worked fine, until today. For some reason my fans started going at full speed, at first it was only the cpu fan, but now all the fans in the pc. I looked into the bios but there is nothing that makes any difference, played with Asus FanExpert but nothing. I've even tryied with other software but still nothing... Please help me, I have a total of 6 fans that keep running at full speed and they're really loud, I can't do anything.

Cpu: intel core i5 6500 lga 1151
MB: Asus H110M2 D3
GPU: Evga 750 ti ftw 2gb
PS: corsair vs550
Cpu cooler: arctic freezer 13
Fans: 4x arctic f12 pwm pst

Solution
If you want to there is one last thing then to try and that is to update the BIOS. Now if you have already done that you could try and just re-flash it. There is a slim chance that could fix it but I doubt it.

EDIT!

Hang on...
Cpu cooler: arctic freezer 13
Fans: 4x arctic f12 pwm pst

I do wonder if it aint the fans who is to blame... If I remember correct the Arctic fans has some problems with the FanExpert software from Asus.

Do you have any other fans laying around or in a different computer? A buddy of you can maybe borrow you 1 fan of his? Does not matter what fan as long as it is PWM and -- NOT -- and Arctic fan.
Go into bios and set every fan to PWM mode. Sounds like for some reason it has switched to DC mode.

After you have changed them over to PWM you need to run FanExpert again for it to detect minimum and maximum speed on your fans. Then you can adjust to whatever you want.

I did what you said, but still the same problem.
When I go into FanExpert I can customize the chassis fans but the cpu fan is shown in black and white with a big exlamation mark in the middle.

Is it plugged into the CPU_Fan header on the motherboard?
If it is, try and plug it into CPU_Opt.

Now it might not boot since some motherboards needs a fan connected to the CPU_Fan header

A second thing is that there is a slim chance the fan is broken. And to check that is pretty simple. Just connect an another of the fans and see if the big exlamation mark is still there.

If you do all above and nothing fixes the problem and you are 110% sure you have changed from DC to PWM then it would sadly look like it might be the fan header on the motherboard that is faulty.
