I use i5-3470 for a few years and now I see that in some points CPU start lagging or in games they go on 100% .

So I see that its time for upgrade .

I use PC for office , internet and gaming ( gta 5, pubg , bf1 ... )

Now I find cheap i7-3770 and I dont know it is good upgrade for gaming ?

Or I should sell my setup and maybe buy Ryzen setup ?

I think to go for ryzen 5 1600 , MSI B350 and 8/16 gb RAM or just upgrade CPU on i7-3770 .

Now i dont know what to do .

Agreed, get the 2600. You may still wish to begin saving for an upgrade as the 2600 was released in 2011. So going on 7 years old. I would try to plan to use the new CPU as a stop gap while you are saving for a newer board, CPU etc.

But if you can get the i7 for the same price you can still your i5 for, by all means do that if it will work.

I feel like the 3770 is a pretty small upgrade and you may be disappointed. You say it's cheap though, and you can sell your i5 to get back some of the cost so I don't know really. Seems like up to about 8% more performance in games which isn't much but may just be enough to smooth things out for now.

Maybe consider a Ryzen 5 1600 or better or an i5 8400 or better, great starting points and a lot newer than a 3770. With 6-8 core becoming more accessible in the mainstream it may be time to consider moving up. Don't panic though, Quad core took many years to start outperforming dual core in games, and even longer to become a requirement. I know some older gamers still perservering with C2D CPUs and older games.

I think just take i7 3770 or 2600 . I just want little more smooth multitasking and in game better performance ( i use discord , chrome and games , then CPU goes on 100% and lag for 1-2 sec when game load )

Friends say maybe wait that ryzen gen2 come out or this get cheaper .... I will only spend like 30 dollar for i7-3770 and 10 dollar for i7-2600 .

Only problems for me is that RAM is more expensive than CPU in my country :(

I have B75 ;(

I sold my i5-3470 and for the same money I can buy i7-2600 .

Its good upgrade i7-2600 from i5-3470 ?

I get i7-2600 for the same money like I sold my i5 .
3770 is 60-80$ more expenzive then 2600 . Is it worth ?

The 2600 would be an upgrade in heavily multithreaded applications.

3770 is not worth that much extra.

Frend give me cheaper , so i take from him i7-4770K , asus z87 gryphon TüV and corsair h90 cooler .

Its work great for me , in games I have 30-60fps more , a cpu usage is 40-60% , on 3470 was 90-100%
