I made a computer and everything turned on and seems to work. (Everything that has lights turns on, and fans spin whenever it's on.) However, when I connect the computer to the monitor (Which at the moment is a TV, but on Wednesday it will be a gaming monitor, I don't know if that might be something to do with it) via HDMI it does not work / shows no signal / Is black. What can I do to fix this?

Do you think it will work? Sorry, I am a bit paranoid since this is my first build.
Update on this. I bought the screen, It didn't work, I took it to a technician, and my ram was not put on correctly apparently -- He also said most of the time when this happens, this is usually the case. Hope this helps.
