So my friend texted me today and he thinks his HDD might be broken since his PC doesn't boot properly anymore. He says that he is sure that his CPU works fine, but he doesn't know if his motherboard, GPU, and HDD are working properly so that's why he is coming over tomorrow to my place to check if everything works. Now my question is: can i remove my SSD and HDD with no problems and then put his HDD in? and if i then put my SSD and HDD back into my pc, will there be any problems?
I hope someone can help me!

Thanks.

No sir, there won't be any problems as long as you take good care of your SSD and your HDD. For example, if you drop or externally damage your storage while it's out of your case, you may internally damage it. When handling your storage be SURE to ground yourself first. Also, the back of the HDD is exposed so don't touch it. :p

Ok thanks. Now i have one more question. Will my pc recognise my ssd as my main storage drive and my hdd as secondary storage drive?

As answered by GT9322, you will be fine as long as you plug the drives' SATA cables back in the same SATA headers as before. And if you didn't make any changes in BIOS to use your friend's HDD. If things get screwed up, worse scenario is going into BIOS and resetting the boot order.
