Would adding a 5$+ steam gift card to a limited Steam account allow the user to use the friends list?
The reason I'm asking is I just got my father into PC gaming (World of Warships) and I'd like to add him into my friends list so we can game together but I know you need to spend at least $5 to have that feature. The issue though is I'm not entirely sure his computer is safe to disclose his financial info so I figured adding a gift card I buy through a local store should work but I'd like to make sure before going through the process.
