Hard drive constantly maxed out!!

My computers hard drive is almost constantly maxed out even performing the most simple tasks. I've already replaced the hard drive and sata cable. I even went into services.msc disabled windows search and superfetch and yet the problem still persists. I ran a benchmark and it seemed to do fine but normal use makes the hard drive max out again.Also, I've been watching task manager and nothing is coming close to being able to stress the hard drive that much. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Need some details about what exactly you are talking about, are you saying the disk usage is at 100% when you check it in Resource Monitor?

I'm wondering if System Restore Point bucket needs to be trimmed.

yes, the disk will spike to 100% any time i try to run basic programs but it seems to do fine when playing games.

Is a clean Windows setup an option for you? Or did you do that when you replaced the drive?
