CPU with this cooler

Hi guys. I would like your honest opinions before I start buying components. Would the Noctua NH-U12S be a good cooler for the Intel i5 -8600k? I wouldn't be doing much overclocking. only from time to time if need. I would get the 140mm version but unfortunately it won't fit in my case.

Yes, it's a very good cooler. I have the U14S and have read several articles where the U12S was used for overclock testing on the 8600k and was a good choice of cooler. In fact, it's a very good choice for any CPU at stock configurations and any i5 with mild to intermediate overclocking.
