Hi.

I am thinking about upgrading my AMD pc (mostly gaming pc), and I have read a lot of reviews and reached the conclusion that it is better idea to buy Intel, something like this:

CPU: i7 7700k.
MOBO: with LGA 1151 socket (for example, z270).
RAM: i needed DDR4 for that mobo (don't have any DDR4 memory).
GPU: 580x, the same i have.

The issue is that my actual hardware is something like this:

CPU: fx8350.
MOBO: Gigabyte 990fx (AM3+).
RAM: 16gb DDR3.
GPU: 580x.

Therefore, i would need to buy almost the whole pc, and spend a lot of money.
Is it a good idea? Or maybe i should buy an AM4 mobo and a ryzen 7 or something like that?
I also accept suggestions for the Intel pc building, if there is another way to build it, or maybe a cheaper way to do it.

Thanks!

EDIT: Is the i5 7600k a good option for gaming? I mean, it's cheaper than the i7 7700k, but is it good enough?

Solution
For the 8600K you will need a Z370 MB, for the I7 7700K it's the Z270 MB.

If I was building NOW I would go with the 8600K or 8700K, depending on budget.

Budget?

I think about 1k as much.

You have options, you can go with the i7 7700K, and no there is nothing wrong with it and yes it's still one of the best gaming CPU's out there. Or you can go with the 8700K or 8600K.

The 8600k one is almost the same price as the 7700k, the 8700k is a bit more expensive (Argentina), so looking around for some reviews I knew that you are right about choosing the 8600k over the 7700k.

What is your opinion about 7700k vs 8600k? (allways thinking about gaming)
Would this be a good setup? Or should i invest more money in ram or mobo?

MB: z270 (any of them)
CPU: 7700k/8600k
GPU: 580x 8gb
RAM: 2x8gb DDR4
