On msi's website they first say max memory is 32gb ddr3 but in the Manuel and the tab under specs on the website they say 16gb. I would assume 16gb is the max but seeing as the Manuel and the specs section say max supported proc is a phenom iix6 when mine is using an fx 8350 makes me wonder. Has anyone verified the max ram? Is it 16gb or 32?

It's just a misprint. In the Memory Support List for the MSI 890FXA-GD70 it shows support for 4 sticks of 8GB ADATA Premier Pro DDR3 Memory Modules (AD3U1600W8G11-R) among a number of others the same size, 32GB.
