Can you move just the boot partition on a hdd to an ssd without cloning the whole drive?

So I just got 2 new ssd's (60gb and 525GB) and have an old 1TB hdd and I was wondering if it was possible to move the boot partition to the 60GB ssd and keep everything else on the 1 TB hdd without having to migrate everything as moving the 300GB used space to the 60 gb ssd is seemingly impossible. If thats not possible is it possible to move the boot partition to the 60 GB and the rest of the files to the 525GB as I don't plan on having the 60 GB ssd used for anything but the boot sequence.

While it may be possible (and fraught with fail potential), that would do absolutely nothing for performance.
The actual OS needs to be on the SSD.

The tiny boot partition merely says "There is a viable OS on this drive. If you like, you can boot it up"

And a 60GB drive is TooSmall for the OS drive.
