Need help selecting a replacement sound card

I am returning my Creative Sound Blaster Omni 5.1 Surround Sound external sound card to Newegg.com. I have a gift card from them that I can use to purchase a new sound card. I need suggestions on a replacement sound card (internal or external) for my computer. I do not have an exact price range. I am trying to avoid a super cheap card and a card that may be overkill for my needs. I am currently looking in the $100 to $150 range but am open to suggestions for cards that may be below that price range. My primary use for the computer is gaming and listening to lossless audio music from my music collection (FLAC and ALAC). I may be transitioning away from CDs to purchasing High Definition Audio Tracks online so I want a sound card capable of handling that type of audio.

These are the specs that I am looking at, but I am open to suggestions on additional features:

- Either internal or external
- 5.1 or 7.1 capability
- 24-bit audio capability
- 192 KHz sample rate
- Provides surround sound in games such as Call of Duty and Battlefield
- Has an Equalizer (Rock Pop, Classical, etc.) and environmental settings ( amphitheater, concert hall, auditorium, etc.) for music
- Shielded or protected to either eliminate electrical interference or keep the interference to an absolute minimum
- Can be hooked up to a home theater system

Thanks in advance.
