i'm using a dell 980 small form factor with 280-230 watt PSU pared with a core i5 650 . I wanna use a MSI Computer Video Card GT 710 1GD3H LP ( Fanless) or a MSI ATI Radeon HD6450 1GB low profile card with a fan ? would i be able to use these cards ? if i add a card and it wont work coudl i find a 300 powersupply? and if so will the new PSU be to much power and cause my pc to fry?

The SFF needs a low profile video card. Your computer is the last of the BTXs so the GPU goes away from the other expansion slots. This puts a 2 slot wide card into the mouse ports. probably the best you can do is a low profileGTX750Ti 2GB DDR5. The VGA port on the 2nd slot can be left off or cabled behind the card. The 1050 series is a much better card but they all seem to have a DVI portin the 2nd slot that can't be removed. Don't bother with the 2 cards you mentioned. Your CPU is 73W, GTX750Ti is 65W so your PSU will be OK>
