The i5 system comes with a GTX 1080 8GB graphics card though, while the i7 system only comes with a GTX 1060 3GB. It looks like the main differences in specs come down to...

i7-7700 (4 cores/8 threads), GTX 1060 3GB = 12,990
i5-6400 (4 cores/4 threads), GTX 1080 8GB = 11,290

The i7 has Hyperthreading to more efficiently handle more threads, which could help in some newer and future games that are more heavily multithreaded, and each core of the i7-7700 should be around 25% faster too, which could even help in less heavily multithreaded games.

On the other hand, the GTX 1080 is a far faster graphics card than a 1060 3GB. Not only does it have a lot more memory, but it should be nearly twice as fast. In games that aren't being limited by the CPU's performance, you would get significantly higher frame rates on the GTX 1080 system.

If you have a monitor that's 1080p or below, the GTX 1060 should be capable of maintaining 60+ fps at high settings in most games for the time being, but might be in need of an upgrade to maintain that kind of performance level in newer games within the next couple years. If you have or are planning on getting a higher resolution monitor though, such as 1440p or above, your performance even now would be limited more by your graphics card, and you would most likely want something faster than a 1060 3GB. Considering the i7-7700/1060 system appears to cost more, while having a less powerful graphics card, the decision isn't all that clear-cut. Both systems would currently provide decent gaming performance at 1080p, though I'm not familiar with how well their prices stack up in your country.
