I built my pc nearly 2 years ago but with a zotac gtx 970 instead
the 970 went bonkers and had artifacts a month ago (lasted for a year and a half)
when i decided to buy a new gpu.

Is there a faulty component in my build thats destroying my graphics card?
Or was my old gpu just bad, and now my psu has gone bad too?

When my pc broke a month ago, it had artifacts whenever i tried to boot the pc and just goes into bootloop along with artifacts, but now it just reboots with a clean, black screen.

Also while doing furmark with the 970 before, it had really low framerates and shuts down before 5 seconds, but now I tried it again with the 1070 and it finished the benchmark with good framerates.

My previous 970 was doing 75-80 degrees while playing,
while my new 1070 has never even reached 62 deg.

edit:
whenever it reboots, it has a really high chance of rebooting again whenever i try to login from the login screen into desktop.

thanks

Solution
ThermalTake TR-2 is very poorly rated, and I can speak from experience that I had 2 fail on me.
First thing I would do is try a different PSU.
