Quick question about safe temps

4790 non k with a hyper 212 evo cooler
evga gtx 1070 ftw
850 corsair gold edition psu
msi z97 sli krait edition mb
16gb gskill ddr3 1600mhz (I believe it is gskill, could be wrong)
all in a corsair spec 01 case.

My ambient temp is usually between 74-77F.

I recently purchased a 1440p monitor and I have a seconday 1080p monitor. 1440p running @144hz and 1080p running @120mhz.

I know full well that I added a 1440p monitor and also a second monitor running at 144hz, so I am full aware it will raise the temps. Question 1, my 4790 non k is basically constantly running at 1.21 volts constantly now, is that correct for this kind of set up or is that wrong?

Second question, when I am idling, my cpu package temp fluctuates between 34-36c (up from 32-33c when I had 2 1080p monitors but one was 60hz), when I am watching a stream on twitch and have a small game like Hearthstone open, the package temp fluctuates between 44-50 (it will also top out at 52-55c max when loading the programs). My question is: Is it bad to have the cpu constantly between 44-50c when doing small tasks for hours on end?

I am sorry if this is a dumb question, it's just so many people have 10000s of different opinions on heat and longevity etc, I figured I would come to the great people at toms hardware and ask to make myself a little less stressed out.

When playing PUBG, my cpu tops out at 62-63C, but usually the package temp hovers around 58-60. I will be adding a second intake fan (this will give me 4 fans total) and I will be getting a better cpu cooler and use better thermal paste in a few weeks. Also the cable management needs to be looked at big time so I know why my case can be hot.

I'd like to also point out, nothing is over clocked and my gpu during pubg gets to 73 max now, which I know isn't a big deal, but again I know why I am getting so much heat, I just want to know if left for long periods of time, how bad is or isn't it.

I just want to know if I am correct in thinking my temps are ok and I have nothing to worry about.

Thank you for helping.

Looks like it's doing okay. Seeing the voltages fluctuate like that is what you want to see. You use HwMonitor to monitor your in-game(PUBG) CPU temperature? I'd be curious what kind of loads the CPU and GPU are under when gaming. I use Afterburner to watch those resources.

Where do you see the 1.21V? HwMonitor or info? My 4690K with a 212 and 2 fans is at .,71V right now. I am not certain why yours won't throttle. Have you disabled or changed any BIOS or CPU variables such as turbo. Any third party throttle stop software?

Bad? No. It's about 70F in here and with a movie on my CPU is at 28C. I wouldn't say those temps. are to be expected and I think you think that vcore is the cause. I just might agree. You could possibly undervolt but that's a question for someone else. It's not going to bake itself to death in 3 or even 10 years with normal use like that. A CPU will normally be outdated before it would die.

Great in game CPU temp.. You were using MSI AB?

It isn't bad. A little odd it may be.

Your temps. are okay. Keep them in check.

I didnt edit anything other than putting my fans in smart mode, never changed any voltage or frequency numbers and yes I see it using HWmonitor. I just checked and it seems to be fluctuating between 1.092 1.063 and 1.21, which is interesting heh.

I don't use msi ab to monitor my temps, just use it for my fan curve for my gpu is all. Does a 1440p monitor really juice a 4790 non k that much? I would believe it I suppose.

It is a corsair spec-01 case. The cable management is piss poor and I have 120mm intake in the front, 1 exhaust in the back and 1 exhuast on the top grill.

I will be adding another intake fan and working on the cable management in a few weeks however.
