It takes about 30sec for it to get to my desktop after turning it on.

I'm new to this, first build, so please let me know if you need any more info.

Thank you for helping.

Oh ya lol its a SanDisk SSD Plus 240 GB.
Has 106 GB used right now (because of games I can take off).
I disabled the Windows logo so I'm not sure.

Oh actually I did see a Windows logo. I believe it took about 9 sec until I saw the windows logo and then 10 more sec to get to desktop.

The boot should take like literally 2 secs. That's the problem. My friend's booted that fast automatically. Not sure what the deal with mine is.
Fast boot is on.

Update: My boot used to be about 30 sec before I did some optimizing.

Umm, no, it will not boot in 2 seconds. If your friend's PC is booting in 2 seconds, either he's exaggerating (or you are) or his PC was just sleeping.
Here's a review showing the boot times for Windows 10 with a 960 Pro, a significantly faster SSD than yours. Scroll down to the 2nd set of graphs, and click on the last one (Bootracter). It takes well over 10 seconds to boot.

Wait. Your friends pc 'boots' in 2 seconds? Are you sure it's not 'waking from sleep'? 2 seconds sounds about right for the pc to wake up, but not boot up. Personally, I've never seen a pc boot that fast. I've seen it as low as around 7 seconds on a fresh windows install, but 15 to 20 second boot time is not that bad once a few programs have been installed. it's not blisteringly fast, but it's not horribly slow either.

Sorry, accidentally clicked as solution. No I've only used Task manager I think but I just made this computer yesterday and have barely downloaded anything.

I'm sure he has a better SSD than mine. I asked just to make sure. Update: He said 2-5 sec. You can find other fast times on the webs I'm sure. I've heard mention of some.

Is there a way to reply to more than one person at once, anybody?

Ok he just clarified that it's his restart that takes 2-5 sec. But on cold start the mobo takes like 30 sec
