Just finished building my new setup but it won't properly power on.

New Specs:
(new) I7-7700k
(new) MSI Z270 Gaming M3
(new) NH-U9S CPU Fan
(old) GTX 1080ti FE
(old) Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 16gb (8gb sticks)
(old) EVGA 850w G2
(old) Crucial SSD
(old) WD Hard drive
(old) Phanteks Enthoo Pro case

So basically everything is in, but when I plug the power supply in all it does is turn on my power LED for my power button. It stays solid, no blinking. Nothing else turns on; no action whatsoever. I've tried taking the GPU out and making sure all connections are tight, but no dice. Anyone have any ideas? This is only my second build and I'm pretty new to it all so go easy on me.

Old specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
Gigabyte AB350-GAMING 3
(+ all of the above old specs)

Dunno how to reply directly to you on mobile, but you're basically right. Right after I posted that I saw someone's post that was similar to mine. I read that they misunderstood the directions and put the front panel connectors in the wrong spots - exactly what I did. Thanks for the swift reply!
