Hi,

I've been using the following setup for the last 3 years-

Intel Core i5 4590
Gigabyte H97 D3H Motherboard
Seagate HDD 2 TB Barracuda 7200 RPM
Sapphire R9 280 X 3 gb ddr5 Dual X OC
Corsair 200 R Chasis
SeaSonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Kingston HyperX 1600 MHz 4x 4GB DDR3 RAM

Now, its been running really well & everything, but all of a sudden this past week it started randomly turning off every now & then. Upon inspection, I realized that the fans on the GPU weren't working & the card itself was extremely hot when I tried touching after powering down the system. I figured its probably gone bust - worst part, it happened within a month of my warranty running out.

So I figured, I'd make an upgrade since its been a while, although this one was working just fine, but in case one can suggest probable upgrades to consider...would really appreciate that. Thanks!

Solution
For I5 4590, you pick anything up to GTX1070/Vega 56 depending on your budget and need.
If you are still on 1080p 60hz, GTX1060 6GB or RX580 8GB is already very good.
