why does my ram say its 800mhz when its actually 1600mhz ?

so thing is i have 2x4gb kingston ram wich is 800mhz and 2x4gb hypreX ram wich is 1600 mhz and when i check it in cpu-z its showing me that you have 800 mhz can anyone help me to solve this problem

Because it is double data rate (DDR) ram. It can transfer data twice per clock. So the advertised number is twice the actual clock speed. That is totally normal.

There is no need to worry DDR ram works on the multiplier of 2 so 800x2 means 1600Mhz thats the way its normal
