Hello guys,
My laptop has been facing several problems from the start of last month and i was thinking it was a mere problem that could be easily fixed by reinstalling my Nvidia VGA drivers.

Whenever I try to run any Unreal Engine based game, it either quits or freezes with an error(see image here https://imgur.com/KVx5aFL)
In addition, FIFA 17 and 18 (https://imgur.com/venDIsK) also gives me same error. Battlefield 1 freezes when playing and also Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 and 18 also hangs up in game.

System Specs:
ACER Aspire E5 573G-56RG
8 GB RAM
Intel Core i5 5200U 2.2GHz (boost 2.7GHz)
Nvidia Geforce 940M 4GB RAM
Intel HD 5500
1TB HDD
Windows 10 Home Version 1709 Build 16299.64

I really need some help. Its nearly 2 years since the laptop was purchased.

It looks like the Unreal Engine games error i have seen that same error on steam discussions too
and there is no fix to it see if the game has any new patches or fixes i dont think there is anything wrong with the GPU if other games are working normally

Unreal engine has some errors. But I suspect the error is more to do with your GPU.

A 940m is not exactly stellar and will more than struggle to run games such as BF1. I suggest it is too weak.

Another potential solution is that the games started running on the Intel HD 5500. Try going into device manager and switching the output to the Nvidia GPU.

No, i pick to run the game with the Nvidia GPU. Moreover, the game starts to run with the Nvidia GPU (https://imgur.com/a/oWTwr) but after i press start the game freezes and it seems the Nvidia GPU stops working.(https://imgur.com/a/Rt3bM)

Blue Colored
1 = Before pressing start
2 = GPU says game is running with it
3 = GPU1 is the Nvidia 940M GPU and you can see its running.

Red Colored
1 = game freezes at 'loading' after pressing start
2 = GPU still says game is running with it
3 = GPU1 is vanished and game is not using disk

I used to play several unreal engine games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, but they are no more playable on my laptop anymore when the problem occured. So i don't think its because of the Unreal Engine. Furthermore, I have a friend who plays the same games as I do and also has the Nvidia 940M 2GB GPU and he has no problem. See a FIFA 17(uses the Frostbite Engine) monitoring i made
