Does using ''OC'' modes in gpu's only increase temperature?

OC modes increase the cards clock speeds (which in turn, increases heat output).
Doing so also give a tiny boost in performance, but its generally not substantial.
If your temps are doing fine, leave it on, its not doing anything else.
