I am currently using an i7 7000k 4.2 ghz CPU with a hydro h100i v2 and wondering if 65 is ok for the temperature?

Solution
Here's the recommended operating range for Core temperature:

80C Hot (100% Load)
75C Warm
70C Warm (Heavy Load)
60C Norm
50C Norm (Medium Load)
40C Norm
30C Cool (Idle)
25C Cool

Core temperatures up to 80C are safe.

Kaby Lakes tends to run a little warm anyways, should be fine if that's under load, idle at 65 would be pretty warm though.

65c is not bad. Certainly not in the danger zone.

I assume this is during stress testing, right?
If it is at idle, you have much to much thermal paste.

Thanks i thought that it was high and it was overheating. Thanks for giving me some light on the temperature ranges that are good
